THE 2010 BENELUX H.O.G. RALLY
The Benelux H.O.G. Rally 2009, held in Leersum (The Netherlands) is barely behind us, and the next Rally is already just round the corner. This time the event will be hosted by the Luxembourg Chapter, which will also be celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2010. We asked director Gilles Krantz to give us a glimpse of what we can expect.
‘The Benelux H.O.G. Rally 2010 will be held on 4, 5 and 6 June in the beautiful village of Larochette, in the heart of the Luxembourg countryside. The Rally is due to start on Friday afternoon with a welcome drink at the beautiful castle of Larochette, and will conclude with a grand parade on Sunday night. The campsite offers 100 mobile homes for 4 to 6 guests each, 40 ready to use 4-person tents and approximately 400 pitches. For visitors who prefer to stay in a hotel, we will publish a list of nearby hotels on our website. The festival area itself will have a chill-out zone with quieter music, but also a large marquee tent, where several bands will perform.
It goes without saying that ride-outs to interesting places in Luxembourg will be organised, and there will also be opportunities for people to make individual visits to some of the most attractive sites the country has to offer. And of course our ladies are organising a ride-out for the Ladies of Harley. Given the current crisis, you could even find yourself buying a Harley for as little as 10 euros! That is to say, if you are the lucky winner of our competition (ha ha).
In short, this is going to be a fantastic weekend, packed with entertainment, good food and drink and great music. I invite everyone to check our website regularly for updates on the programme.
